D7 Financial Status

Delayed Start Mondays
D7 will delay the start of school one hour on twelve (12) Mondays throughout the year. This gives our staff time to meet on school improvement initiatives. For more information and for a list on affected Mondays, please click here. |

Registration for District Residents
Registration for D7 residents is available Monday thru Friday 8:00 am to 3:00 pm at Board Office 20629 Annapolis, Dearborn Heights, MI 48125. Required documentation and registration forms for D7 residents. |

H1N1 Flu (Swine Flu)
D7 is working to prevent an outbreak of H1N1flu (also know as Swine Flu). We are following the Center for Disease Control recommendations. For more information, please see the CDC website. D7 Announces the
Great School Readiness Program
GSRP is a comprehensive Pre-School program that targets social and cognitive skills. The classes meet AM or PM and run Tuesday through Thursday. Classes are taught by a certified teacher and class size is capped at 16. It is funded though a grant from the Michigan Department of Education and is free to eligible D7 families. Online Payment for Student Food Service Accounts and Other School Related Expenses
In an effort to make things easier for families, D7 is pleased to announce online payments for student meal accounts. Beginning in September, parents can log in and use a credit card to post funds to their child's food services account as well as pay for activity fees, sports fees and other expenses. Students can type in their ID in the cafeteria line and the cost of their meal will be deducted from their account. See our web page for more information.

Stimulus Bill and Wayne County Schools
There is a great deal of confusion about how schools will benefit from the stimulus bill passes by congress in March. Wayne County RESA has produced this Stimulus Bulletin to help clarify the information.
