5th Grade Transition to O.W. Best
Ms. Herd and Mrs.  Stubbs are excited to meet the 5th graders at Pardee on April 29th. The handout they go over with students can be found here.  Also Course Descriptions for 6th grade are available here.  Then on May 6th and May 7th the 5th graders will be visiting O.W. Best.  During their visit they will have an opportunity to meet Mr. Z and Mrs. Portscheller and ask them questions about middle school.  The students will also visit 6th grade classes, take a tour of the school, and they will meet their pen pal and enjoy lunch with them.  It is an exciting event and is a great way to ease some of the anxiety that comes with changing schools.  The 6th grade teachers will be planning an orientation in late August this year as well. More information will be sent out during the summer.
