May 2026
Dear D7 Families,
As we wrap up the month of May and enter into the month of June, it is hard to believe how quickly another school year has flown by. This time of year always brings a special energy to our schools as students, staff, and families come together to celebrate accomplishments, traditions, and milestones. From concerts and field trips to award ceremonies, field days, and graduation celebrations, our buildings are filled with opportunities to recognize the hard work and growth of our students. These experiences help create the lasting memories that make each school year so meaningful. In this month’s newsletter, we are proud to highlight some district accomplishments along with Bedford Elementary and the many wonderful things happening within their school community. While the school year is winding down, important work across the district will continue throughout the summer months.
Safety continues to remain a top priority across our district, and I want to sincerely thank our families and community members for your continued partnership and support. Your communication and attentiveness play an important role in helping us maintain safe learning environments for all students. If concerns ever arise, please know we encourage you to reach out directly. As always, anonymous reports may also be submitted through OK2SAY, which can be accessed through our district website.
Thank you for your ongoing support of our schools and for being such an important part of our district community. As we approach the final weeks of the school year, I encourage everyone to enjoy the many celebrations and activities ahead while we finish the year with pride, positivity, and excitement for what’s to come.
